Scientists working on the Sample Analysis Task are responsible for preparing and administering contracts with analytical laboratories for the analysis of the Surface Environmental Surveillance Project samples. They track laboratory performance, schedule inspections and audits, and act as a liaison between project staff and the laboratories to help resolved problems. This task involves routine interface with Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) Contract staff and the Surface Environmental Surveillance Project Data Management Task on these issues.
